A bouquet of flowers can say so much about how you feel for someone, whether the occasion is one of sadness during a period of bereavement or for those happier occasions like mothers day, valentines day, fathers day, anniversaries or birthdays. A simple floral arrangement with a few words on a card can often lift the spirit.
A beautiful arrangement can be made of simple spring flowers like tulips, daisies, gerberas etc and can be extremely colorful and scented. The scent alone can lift the spirit so when choosing flowers think of scent as well as color choice. Arranging contrasting colors can have a striking effect.
More formal arrangements can be used for more formal occasions, and usually will follow tradition of some kind that has been determined by the event you are choosing flowers for over many years or even centuries. Unless you know the recipient very well its best to stick to traditional lines so that the meaning behind the floral display is not lost.
